The memory is deep in my mind. The day that Jade came to live with us. I was 9 I think. Uncle Mark found him collapsed near the manor. He clung to him for dear life as if he was afraid of something.
"David, come here for a moment." my uncle beckoned me over and with pure innocent curiosity, I went over. Mikey, my little brother was clinging to me, having the same curiosity.
Mark smiled at us. "This is Jade, he's going to be your servant for now on." Jade timidly hid behind my uncle. My smile grew.
"That is wonderful!" I walked over. "You are my servant now, so let's go play!" Jade looked at me through his long bangs.
"Y-Yes." I grasped his hand and with Mikey in the other, we were off to have our adventures.
" Young master, What are you day dreaming about?" Jade asked and poured Jasmine tea into Davey's porcelain tea cup. Davey smiled at him.
"Just thinking of a memory."
